About Bipul K Setu

I am a PhD-trained Biologist and Immunologist with expertise in cell biology, molecular biology, immunoassay development, and translational research. My scientific journey has focused on understanding host–pathogen interactions, inflammatory signaling, and tissue-specific immune responses, with hands-on experience spanning mammalian cell culture, organoid systems, protein characterization, transcriptomics, and advanced imaging. In my current role, I support the development of diagnostic antibodies by performing immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA, and assay optimization within a regulated environment (ISO 13485, FDA QSR). I also contribute to product development documentation, design history files, and quality compliance processes. I am passionate about leveraging my academic and industry experience to bridge fundamental research with real-world applications in immunology, diagnostics, and drug discovery. Looking ahead, I aim to take on Scientist-level roles where I can design and lead impactful projects, mentor junior researchers, and contribute to advancing innovative healthcare solutions.
