As a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering student specializing in Manufacturing Engineering, I am passionate about leveraging advanced technology to optimize production processes and enhance operational efficiency. With a strong foundation in CAD modeling, prototyping, and simulation analysis, my experiences reflect a commitment to innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. My academic journey at Vellore Institute of Technology (CGPA: 8.62/10) has been enriched by hands-on internships and research experiences. At DPS Udyog, I honed my CAD modeling skills, creating and analyzing automotive components using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. During my internship at NRB Bearings, I gained proficiency in prototype development and supply chain management while contributing insights that informed project decisions. My research internship at NIT Rourkela involved designing auxetic structures, prototyping with 3D printing, and analyzing tensile strength using UTM machines. In addition to technical skills, I thrive in collaborative and leadership roles. As the captain of Team Gati, a go-kart racing team, I led a diverse group in designing and manufacturing high-performance vehicles for competitions. My role as Vehicle Dynamics Head allowed me to delve deeper into simulations and physical testing, improving vehicle stability and performance. As Co-Secretary of SME-VIT, I acquired leadership, communication, and organizational skills that reflect my proactive approach to teamwork and management. My project portfolio includes developing a lightweight car bumper, achieving substantial improvements in impact performance, manufacturing efficiency, and quality. I’ve also conducted research on magnesium alloy (AZ80) milling, analyzing parameters to enhance material removal rates and surface finish for aerospace and automotive applications. Beyond academics, I actively participated in Smart India Hackathon, contributing to an electric wheelchair prototype to improve accessibility. I’ve presented carbon emission reduction strategies at industry conclaves and developed robotic waste management solutions at Vortex 360 Hackathon. I am proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and Ansys, with foundational knowledge in Python and Spanish. My strengths include teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude, underpinned by a drive to contribute meaningful solutions to engineering challenges.
