About Birgit Flipsen

With over 30 years of experience in Human Resources, I’ve built a strong foundation in guiding organizations through strategic and operational HR challenges. My strength lies in connecting people and business, with a clear focus on sustainable growth, professionalization, and results. My career began in 1988 at Geesink Norba Group, where I worked for over 20 years as HR Manager. I was responsible for achieving HR objectives aligned with company policy, attracting and developing talent, advising on legal and policy aspects of recruitment, and implementing HR programs to engage and retain employees. In 2009, I joined Chronos BTH BV, part of Canadian Premier Tech, as HR Manager Europe. I supported the transition from a family-owned business to an international organization, professionalized HR tools, aligned European HR policies with global standards, and guided the management team through reorganizations and plant closures. After a year’s absence, I was invited back to reintroduce and update HR instruments. In 2013, I worked as HR Manager, Trainer & Coach at Anders Werkt, focusing on creating movement in the labor market. I supported job seekers in their transition to employment and advised employers on recruitment and subsidy schemes, in close collaboration with municipalities and employer associations. Since 2012, I’ve been the owner of Brigjo Advies & Beheer BV, providing HR consultancy to organizations in the Netherlands and internationally. My approach is client-focused and results-driven, supporting sustainable growth through HR professionalization, talent development, strategic workforce planning, competence management, and change management. From 2015 to 2018, I was also an active member of People-S, a network of HRM specialists offering end-to-end strategic HR services to organizations. Since 2017, I’ve been working at Lenze EMEA West, where I’m responsible for HR across the Benelux, UK, and France. In this role, I focus on aligning HR strategy with business goals, supporting organizational development, and driving international collaboration.
