I am a laboratory technician with a strong passion for microscopy, automation, and hands-on problem-solving under pressure. Even during my student years, I enjoyed working at the edge of disciplines—designing and building my own nanoparticle tracking analysis setup in a hobby lab within my shared flat, where I successfully synthesized and measured carbon quantum dots. After gaining experience in sepsis and in-vivo pharmacology research—including cancer studies in the mouse model—I joined a research group at University College Dublin, Ireland, focused on next-generation oncology technologies. This opportunity enabled me to go far beyond my formal training and develop cross-disciplinary expertise in electronics, mechanics, optics, and software engineering. As part of this work, I conceived and built a medical imaging prototype for cancer surgery, resulting in two pending patents and laying the foundation for Cymantic Medical, where I serve as a co-founder and CSO.
