About Biruk Asmare Muse

I am currently a Ph.D student in computer engineering and software engineering department polytechnique montreal. I am a member of SWAT (Software Analytics team) where we work on addressing problems related with software development and maintenance.I am a graduate electrical engineer on computer engineering specialty. I received my MSc degree in computer engineering from Addis Ababa University on December, 2017 and I received my B.Sc. degree from Addis Ababa university institute of technology in July,2015 in Electrical Engineering with computer focus area. I always take leadership role in team projects. I did my internship on Oracle ERP customization, management and support at Ethio-telecom. I like to participate in design projects that involve both hardware and software. I can work with web and android development technologies including but not limited to MEAN stack, MYSQL, PHP, JQUERY, Bootstrap and other related technologies. I am experienced with GIT as a software version control system.In addition to my duties as a lecturer and academic advisor, I am also involved in projects that are done in collaboration with industry. I have developed web application for farm service centers. The website was locally hosted and not available on the internet. I was one of the two developers involved in building traffic accident management system that includes android application for traffic accident data collection and website for reporting and other related data mining. It is implemented as a pilot project and owned by Ethiopian Road Safety authority
