About Biswajit Panda

A public health and management specialist with over 25 years of experience working with bilateral and multilateral organizations. Beginning career with an NGO in West Bengal, I have progressively taken on roles at regional and national levels, initially focusing on HIV/AIDS and human trafficking along the Indo-Nepal and Indo-Bangladesh borders. Over time, my work has expanded to Reproductive and Child Health, with a strong emphasis on Health System Strengthening, Partnership Building, Quality Improvement in Healthcare Facilities, Evidence Generation, and Policy Advocacy. I have played a pivotal role in Labour Room Transformation initiative using available resources, Strengthening Primary Healthcare in urban areas, including developing a delivery model to improve life-course vaccination services close to the community. I have received extensive training in project and program management, health system strengthening, quality healthcare delivery, and monitoring & evaluation from renowned national and international institutes. My expertise includes conceptualizing and implementing large-scale interventions, development of organizational strategy, program planning, proposal development, fundraising, donor reporting, mentoring, supportive supervision and evidence-based advocacy to influence policy at various levels. Additionally, my work & research publications have been accepted at national and international conferences, contributing to the broader discourse on public health and healthcare improvements.
