Integrative Medicine is the practice of medicine that reaffirms the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of ALL appropriate therapeutic approaches, healthcare professionals and disciplines to achieve optimal health and healing. Integrative Medicine is my Passion, my Purpose and my Pursuit as a Doctor of Medicine. I believe in a holistic approach to health care and also realize the critical importance of diet and exercise and how they play an integral role in an individual’s well being. Raised in Sweden, I moved to the US to attend the University of California Irvine for undergraduate studies. After graduating UC Irvine, I then entered Medical School at St. George’s University School of Medicine and subsequently my residency at North Shore-LIJ in Long Island, New York. I then returned to Southern California… the place that captured my heart. I currently practice at Center for New Medicine in Orange County. No matter the injury, disease or problem I may be addressing, all my patients are reminded of the significance of a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a positive attitude that best determines a long and healthy life.
