I started my career with The Times of India as a hard core sales representative doing door to door direct selling and extensively applied my negotiation and communication skills to boost sales & achieve given targets. Also did lots of institutional selling and channel management while being with The Times Group at school and college level. While working as a Marketing Manager in telecom the focus was on outdoor visibility, managing vendors, liasioning with newspapers and journalists to negotiate free image building through media coverage. Learnt to work under tremendous pressure in tecom which happens to be highly competitive, dynamic in nature and seeking innovations each day. Worked with Koshika Telecom Ltd, Idea Celr, Bharti Cellular, Reliance Communications, Aircel and currently working with Videocon Telecommunications Ltd as Business Head for flaglulaship Tamil Nadu Circle based out of Chennai. I enjoy working under deadline pressure job to meet timelines like a true entrepreneur and am termed as Turnaround Manager and have delivered positive results beyond expectations in fiercely competitive territories like Tamil Nadu, Punjab, J&K, UP (East & West) and MP / CG. Even during my short stint of 5 months in flagship Circle TN - the results despite all odds have been remarkable on all key business parameters. My core competencies lie in Team Management, Sales & Distribution, Constant Innovation, Customer Life Cycle management, Entrepreneurial skills with a very passionate result oriented approach and daily tracking of overall P&L of the Circle.
