Background
About Blair MacKenzie
Remember that Kris Kristofferson song that goes, “Why me, Lord, what have I ever done…” (Kristofferson, 2005, para.1). I suffer from an inoperable condition. I am an entrepreneurial writer. Entrepreneur originates from the French word for undertake (Merriam Webster’s, 1997). My personal statement reads a little like a sermon I heard stating that everyone falls into three categories: one can be an undertaker, a caretaker, or a risk taker. Looking back, contemplating the future, and assessing the present, I think I am, have been, or will be all three. An entrepreneur and a writer must undertake projects and opportunities, take care of business and relationships, and embrace the inherent risks of failure and success. Specialties: Marketing, writing, teaching, communicating, conceptualizing, problem solving, negotiating
