About Blaise Netzer

One thing learned from life experiences is that sometimes you have to take the unexpected, unplanned road in order to succeed. The universe tends to enjoy flipping your aspirations on their heads; after enduring its punches for many years, I picked up the skill of adaptation of situations I find myself thrust into.Every college student pursues the goal of attaining their dream job upon graduation. The frank reality is that oftentimes those dream careers are bogged down with massive populations of applicants or hidden beyond hoops that need jumping through. Many rise to the occasion of facing such obstacles, while just as many fail and fall into the growing pool of despairing youth scrambling to switch gears.I was able to fall into a completely different area, thanks to that skill of adaptation. I studied English literature with a passion for novels and the nitty gritty of copy editing; when that job field appeared sparsely dry, I somehow ended up on a path just the opposite of books and words—I now work with numbers and money, growing my skill base and continuing to learn new things to put to use adapting in the future. The foundation of my adaptability in whatever career field I find myself in stems from practices that are a decade in the making—building lasting customer relationships, finding and offering the best course of action or sale for the customer, and finding new and inventive ways to push product.Between handling the finances of others and trying to find a niche where I can utilize my degree and the qualifications I built over the years, I absorb new knowledge by keeping up with current events, pop culture and technological trends; I try my hand at amateur photography when I find an area overgrown with beautiful foliage; and I explore my community to find hidden gems within its businesses, people, and locales. I enjoy making new professional acquaintances and networking. Reach out if you have any shared interests or can offer advice!
