About Blake Baird

I’m a systems-level leader, policy strategist, and equity-driven educator with over a decade of experience designing and implementing sustainable change across K–12 settings. My career has spanned the classroom, the principalship, and district leadership—with a focus on human resources, instructional design, restorative practices, and strategic organizational development. At my core, I build systems where people—especially those furthest from educational justice—can thrive. I’ve redesigned schools, led district-wide professional learning, guided complex labor negotiations, and re-authored policy through an equity lens. I’m also a neurodivergent founder of a fermentation-focused hot sauce company, where I apply the same principles I lead with in education: structure, creativity, and purpose. Whether coaching principals, designing staff development systems, or partnering with community organizations, I lead with clarity, care, and a bias for action. I believe trust is built through transparency, growth happens through reflection, and leadership is a service—not a title. Currently open to new opportunities in educational leadership, human capital strategy, equity consulting, or mission-driven organizations ready to reimagine what’s possible for their people and systems.
