About Blake Cosey

As a recent graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, I am very excited to be entering the real world and exploring possible careers. I graduated in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Service Administration. I have spent my college days working my way up from being a Resident Assistant all the way to Community Director. It has been an absolute blessing to be able to serve the residents of the University and guide them to successful college careers within the dormitories. While being a part of the Residential Life Team I have also worked in customer service while being heavily involved with student organizations on campus. I have been afforded the privilege to join the esteemed Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc and serve them as both Director of Intake and Vice President. I have also been able to serve the entire National Panhellenic Council as the Member at Large and create a healthy dialogue between Panhellenic and Inter-fraternity Council members. My most proud accomplishment though has to be my time serving as a UL Life Mentor. UL allows students to mentor the student population with special needs and being able to build genuine relationships with those amazing students has been the most gratifying by far. Within the last year, I wanted to get experience working in healthcare which is why I began working at Acadiana Urgent Care. There I have been able to use my customer service, Microsoft Office, and operations management skills to help the clinic achieve maximum profits while maintaining quality service and products for the patient. My main goal since graduation is to secure a position with a company that shares similar standards I hold myself to every day. A few of these are building beneficial connections, optimizing profits, and maintaining integrity in every task given.
