About Blake Doran

July 26, 2011 To Whom it May Concern: Blake Doran worked for me from November 2005 until June 2011. Blake started out as an inexperienced young man who quickly took over Residential Construction and Warranty Service for two communities at our company, Criterion Homes/ First Home. He quickly earned the respect of older contractors and homeowners. In January of 2009, he joined me at Manors at Valley Ranch, a high end townhome community plagued with warranty service issues and a new very complicated product line never built before. He seized control of warranty service and converted many unhappy homeowners to, at the very least, satisfied homeowners. He quickly turned our warranty department from a liability in our marketing effort into an asset. Blake participated in recruiting new contractors that not only brought higher quality, better warranty service, but lower costs. After 3 decades in high volume residential construction, I can tell you that Blake has that one quality that only the very successful in our business have. He takes ownership in his position. Blake will be a valued asset for whatever organization that will be fortunate to have him come aboard. I highly recommend him, and would happily speak with anyone about this quality young man.
