Somehow through hard work, persistence, and good luck I have been able to turn my passion for web development into a successful and fulfilling career.I started university at UBC in 2004 where I studied mathematics and also completed the Bachelor of Arts program in Honours Philosophy in 2010.I had taken a Java programming class in my first year at UBC and it reinvigorated an existing passion for technology. From 2004 to 2010 I became involved in paid web projects, mostly as a result of my heavy involvement in the AMS student society at UBC.I found myself incorporating programming into the non-profit sector jobs I worked post-graduation. I wanted to back up my side project experience with a solid foundation of first principles, so I enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Computing Science program at SFU in 2012. I completed that program in 2 years and started my first professional web development job at SIX12 Creative. I've worked on contract for various companies including Samsung's Research Lab in Burnaby, BC.Wow you're still reading this.
