About Blake Jacoby

I am a veterinary technician at UF Small Animal Hospital, where I provide quality care and support to a variety of animals and their owners. I have a bachelor's degree in biology from Florida Gulf Coast University and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in wildlife forensic sciences and conservation from University of Florida. My core competencies include environmental issues, wildlife conservation, and wildlife law. In my previous roles, I gained valuable experience in environmental analysis, site inspection, report writing, and BMP implementation at CMS Environmental Solutions, and in kennel keeping, dog training, medicine administration, and customer service at Sit Means Sit Dog Training. I am motivated by my passion for animal welfare and environmental protection, and I strive to contribute to the advancement of these causes. I enjoy working with diverse teams and learning from different perspectives and experiences. I am also certified in open water diving and enriched air nitrox diving, which allows me to explore and appreciate the marine life and ecosystems.
