About Blake Johnson
In January of 2017, I purchased my first shares of Northern Interstate Construction, Inc. to become the fourth generation in my family to run businesses in the construction industry. My father, Bruce Johnson, founded the company in 1985 with his brother Bill Johnson as a way to continue the family tradition and improve the community around us. As President, I seek to build upon those original values by providing outstanding earthwork and utility services for the Twin Ports and surrounding areas. Since 2017, I have worked tirelessly with my business parter and cousin, Justin Johnson, to modernize the company and grow Northern Interstate by over 800%. Together, we restructured our company to separate the construction operations from the material sales and real estate asset divisions. Our family of companies are now independently expanding to better serve the construction, aggregate, and commercial real estate markets.
