About Blake Lancaster

I am a behaviorally trained Licensed Psychologist who conducts research and provides clinical services specializing in short-term, solution-oriented, therapies for children with behavioral health issues. My clinical practice focuses on providing behavioral health services in primary care pediatric settings employing the integrated co-location model. This integrated approach allows for delivery of empirically-based treatments for a wide variety of behavioral health concerns that arise in primary care pediatric settings (e.g, sleep problems, toileting issues, ADHD problems, anxiety, depression and general behavior problems). My long-term career objective revolves around achieving external funding and conducting applied research at the University of Michigan. An applied research clinic of this nature involves obtaining and maintaining external funding to support a sustained research and training program in integrated behavioral health focused on (1) developing a series of multi-site collaborative studies investigating the cost-offset and return on investment associated with providing integrated behavioral health services,(2) investigating the use of technology (e.g, internet, texting, interactive applications, etc.) as a method for delivering empirically-derived integrated behavioral health solutions for problems that commonly present in primary care pediatric settings, and (3) investigating training/teaching methods for disseminating and proliferating integrated behavioral health service techniques, primarily through our new internship and fellowship training programs in the Division of Child Behavioral Health at the University of Michigan.
