I am a Machine Learning Engineer at PathAI. Previously, I graduated from the Machine Learning master's program at Carnegie Mellon University. Applications of machine learning and computer vision for social good excite me, which has guided my choice in high-impact projects. My previous work has particularly focused on ML for solutions in human health, behavior, and accessibility; success on these projects has boosted detection of cancerous cells, led to a company patent for autonomously maintaining thermal comfort, and augmented our understanding of the developing human brain. More recently, I have been using attention-based methods in computer vision tasks to improve diagnostic pathology at PathAI and in NLU tasks with my research exploring a novel framework to improve multilingual machine translation.
