About Blake Murphy

As the son of a U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and B-1 Lancer pilot who served for over 30 years, I was raised in the shadow of flight lines, deployment cycles, and a deep respect for the uniform. Though I wasn’t medically cleared to serve due to a medical condition, service has always been in my blood. I’ve also walked my own path through adversity—overcoming Complex PTSD and shedding close to 100 pounds through discipline and intentional transformation. That journey gave me more than physical change—it gave me insight into the mental and emotional battles so many veterans fight long after the battlefield. That’s why I’ve committed my career to telling stories that honor the warrior spirit. I’m Blake (Murphy) Woolwine, Senior Producer of Military Makeover with Montel—a nationally and internationally broadcast television series on Lifetime and the American Forces Network. We rebuild homes—and more importantly, we rebuild lives. Every mission we take on is about restoring dignity, celebrating resilience, and standing watch beside the men and women who’ve stood watch for us. This work isn’t just production. It’s personal. Every brand we bring into the show becomes part of the journey—not just on screen, but in real life, in real homes, with real families.
