About Blake Pilgreen Holt

By the time I started kindergarten, I had already lived in 3 different countries. My unique experience growing up in diverse communities, both in the U.S. and abroad, set me up to be extremely curious and passionate about global engagement, cross-cultural communication, and intercultural understanding. I pursued an undergraduate degree in International Relations, and then a graduate degree in Global Studies, spent a decade living overseas, and have six years of internationally-focused work experience. Throughout my life, I've found myself drawn in by the beauty and depth that comes from listening to new perspectives, living among different traditions, encountering new cultures, and learning from other's experiences. Cross-cultural engagement is a simultaneously empowering and humbling experience and I'm passionate about creating opportunities for others to grow in this unique way. Working in international education, study abroad, and exchange programming has been a dream come true, a true melding of my skillsets and passions. I have had the privilege of working with 100+ international partners from 6 continents. Even with a large amount of intercultural experience, the beauty of cross-cultural engagement is that you are never done learning! I feel like I'm just scratching the surface. I'm a life-long learner and am passionate about continuing to grow, learn, ask good questions, and listen. Let's connect!
