Early in my career a Consumer Policy Manager role was made available and I seized the opportunity and this launched my passion for policy and price stability. This role expanded to all product lines and consumer contracts were added to my portfolio of responsibilities. I managed all HP consumer policies for the US and Canada. This included all advertised pricing, returns, and operational policies. I also managed and negotiated all US and Canada Consumer Direct contracts such as Best Buy and Staples which contribute about 11 billion annually. • Increased policy compliance from 70% to 98% leading /driving price stability due to reduced price matching in the marketplace • Facilitated policies that ensured price promotions did not erode price stability by working across product lines/categories and driving advanced communications to resellers and agencies • Reduced year over year agency cost by 37% by managing the two largest agencies that managed over resellers and 2600 products. This was accomplished by constantly evaluating and monitoring daily operations I possess a deep knowledge and understanding regarding pricing policies that support price stability. Combining policy, promotions, and business strategy, I can piece together the puzzle for a positive result. Added to the mix, as the liaison for all US legal and Antitrust issues, I have a deep knowledge of how intellectual property coordinates to advertising compliance.
