Howdy, I am a Materials Science & Engineering graduate from Texas A&M University. I have a summer of experience in the mining industry and am excited to apply my materials characterization and failure analysis background to project management.Before this year, I never expected to end up pursuing a career in the mining industry, but after a summer internship at a silica mine, I was hooked. The daily challenges on a mine allow me to apply engineering problem-solving skills to business principles. The continuous improvement nature of a plant allowed me to pick up project management and finance quickly by working on many short projects.
