About Blake Sanders

Five years of experience with FIRST high-school robotics programs have brought me to where I am today. After discovering my love for software, electronics, and all things technology, I am now exploring careers in the fields of autonomous transportation and robotics. I am spending my time in college on determining what challenges and excites me in those fields, primarily by joining student organizations and a robotics lab. Outside of college, I have developed my technical and professional skills through an internship with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, learning first-hand what work is being done and what challenges are faced by one of the most innovative and unique Autonomous Vehicle implementations in the country.I hope to further my technical knowledge and skillsets by pursuing work and a Master's degree in my fields of interest, while also giving back to the FIRST Robotics community through volunteer work.
