I am a graduate student at North Carolina State University pursuing my Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. My research focuses on optimal control strategies for autonomous robotic sailing drones operating in stochastic environments. As a research assistant in the Control and Optimization for Renewables and Energy Efficiency (CORE) Lab, I have collaborated on a variety of projects focused on improving the ways in which energy is used or harvested. During this time, I have both broadened my engineering skillset and improved my ability to adapt newly-learned techniques to problems that I am facing.
