With over 14 years in the fire protection industry, Blake Smith is a seasoned professional specializing in the design and implementation of comprehensive fire safety systems. He began his career as a Fire Alarm Technician in Calgary, where he managed installations and verifications for various projects, ranging from large-scale developments to smaller installations. In 2014, Blake transitioned into Sales and Project Management, and in 2016, he relocated to Toronto to broaden his expertise. He currently serves as a Senior Technical Consultant at Ignis Building Solutions, where he utilizes his extensive experience to enhance fire protection strategies and uphold the highest safety standards. In addition to his role at Ignis Building Solutions, Blake is an Instructor at Seneca Polytechnic's School of Fire Protection Engineering Technology. There, he is dedicated to educating and mentoring the next generation of fire safety professionals. Blake’s career is marked by a commitment to advancing fire safety practices and delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
