I am a driven educator and curriculum developer who is passionate about discovering new ideas and sharing what I learn. As a law enforcement program director, I have trained over 1,500 military personnel and Department of the Navy (DoN) employees in leadership and process improvement across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and the South Pacific. Communicating actionable goals as an educator, leader, and mentor comes easy for me because of my jovial personality coupled with my extensive education and vast experience. From implementing critical pedagogy to developing dynamic curriculums, I have grown my skills in educational assessment, curriculum development, and program evaluation through successfully facilitating over 175 courses and program evaluations. My satisfaction as an educator and instructional designer has been delivering critical pedagogy to at-risk facilities and matching individual skills to increase productivity and operational effectiveness. As a Working Dog and Law Enforcement Program evaluator, I inspired action by helping trainers and law enforcement organizations define clear goals while developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are actionable and empowering. Between 2019 and 2021, I assisted over 150 working dog professionals and 11 law enforcement organizations across the east coast to create KPIs that resulted in a drastic increase in operational effectiveness and reliability by 95% for the Department of Defense. When I am not spending quality time with my family, I am running, playing the guitar, or enjoying Lake Michigan. I have a passion for the arts and pride myself as a lifelong learner.
