About Blake Wilson

Transitioned studying economics and analytics into consultant role in the banking industry. Over my time in the industry I've walked through the analytics spectrum with a myriad of experiences. I love the idea of having a problem and understanding the cause and how to influence the outcome. I think of myself as a professional problem solver; I ask the important questions, understand the root problem, analyze, iterate, and deliver actionable insights. I actively look to add techniques to my disposal and practice with side projects and exercises. I have a premium membership with DataCamp and have completed almost 20 different courses and nearing completion of the R data scientist track to add to my advanced SAS and SQL skills. In my personal life, I dedicate a large amount of time to photography. I really enjoy getting to know new people and helping them capture a significant moment, feeling, or event in their life. When I’m not taking photos, I explore the techy side of life looking for a new idea or object that can make my life easier. Be it a new smart home object, a more efficient route to work, or a new exercise to promote muscle growth, just as in work I like to make the most of my time on everything I’m involved with.
