About Blayne Martinez

I am a current senior at The University of Texas at Dallas, pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sales. I chose this path because I'm passionate about understanding what drives people's decisions and how to meet their needs effectively. Part of the reasoning behind choosing my degree plan was my love for traveling and communicating with people worldwide, as well as my dedication to achieving success. I grew up playing select soccer, and I've been given numerous opportunities to travel the world. I have visited several parts of Europe, including Spain, Sweden, and Brazil, for soccer-related purposes and have experienced many different cultures and unique atmospheres. Playing soccer during my childhood to the highest degree influenced me to major in my work ethic, dedication, and drive to be successful at all things I pursue. Being outspoken has always come naturally; I love meeting and interacting with new people. Communication and social skills are my greatest strengths, which have enabled me to thrive in various circumstances. Sales is my profession because I am eager to learn about new people and connect with those who are willing to do so. With my work experience, I pursued select soccer to the fullest potential during my youth, allowing little time for a full-time job. However, I created a business opportunity on the side, detailing vehicles, to teach me responsibility with money and budgeting. Any task that will ever be given to me, no matter the circumstances, I will tackle it with full effort and dedication. Former NCAA athlete
