About Blessing Ajisafe

I am a goal getter young academic. I'm strongly convinced that when you add persistence+ resilience+ determination+ will power+ prayer, the end is always desired result. I am very passionate about how our political environment control our social environment, that's why my studies and work experience have always revolve around the state and it's role, people and their responsibilities and the interface of the civil society. After graduation, I worked as a research assistant to a professor, mainly to gather research data. Thereafter, I worked at a business school as a research officer. We developed modules with fresh data both primary and secondary. Currently, I co-instruct undergraduate courses in Political Science and Public Administration with senior academics. The courses range from Political Behaviour, Political Parties and Pressure Groups, Administrative and Organisational Theories, African Government and Politics, Public Enterprise Management, Public Human Resources Management, Development Administration, Political Economy, State Theories, and Public Financial Management. I also assist senior academics in the department to conduct major researches, in that, I help in data gathering, field work scheduling etc. I do also conduct primary researches around themes in democratic studies. Under guidance, I supervise undergraduate final project works. Finally, I apart from offering community services, I act as students' academic advisor and records custodian. My life pages are not full yet. With zeal and strength in my side, I'm open to explore new environments, new knowledge, new people, new thinking. After all, travel is fatal to bigotry and narrow-mindedness. ALL IN ALL, WHATEVER I HAVE ACQUIRED, IS TO CONTRIBUTE MY QUOTA TO NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
