About Blessing Ashi

Seven years+ of experience working extensively in the intersection of technology, sexual reproductive health, and community development. My expertise lies in designing and implementing digital skill projects that empower women, girls, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable populations in underserved communities. I serve as the Women Techsters Programs Lead at Tech4Dev, a non-profit organization focused on creating access to decent work and entrepreneurship opportunities for Africans through digital skills empowerment and advocacy. I also serve as a Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights Advocate working with the governments, private and public sector to develop the Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) manual for young people in Nigeria. I am a 2023 Mandela Washington Fellow in the Civic Engagement track and a 2022/2023 Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative Fellow in the Education team. I'm also a proud alumnus of the UNFPA Youth Participatory Platform Lagos Liaison Office and the Youth in Development Fellowship.
