If you google it, you'll read about how it's a stone made from the fossilized sap of a specific type of tree. It's able to capture something and preserve it, which is what I wanted to do with my art. Blue Amber can appear like ordinary amber, but under certain types of light it will glow a bright blue. So when I was creating a name, I looked up what my first name, Amber, meant and wanted to use it to represent what I did in my craft. Also knowing the weight that it would carry and what I wanted to project through it, it was an easy decision to go with Blue Amber Photography."
