About Bo Johnson

I am a motivated and informed individual with a passion for nonprofit engagement and development. Currently, I am the Administrative & Communications Assistant to the President & CEO at Episcopal Relief & Development, and international NGO focusing on reducing violence against women and girls, early childhood development, climate resilience, and disaster relief. In my role, I help manage the President’s calendar while also writing speeches, creating social media content, and communicating with major donors and Board members. I also help organize and facilitate events, including speaking engagements, Board meetings, and program site visits. Beyond my professional life, I have a personal passion for urban planning, world events, politics, and languages. These all feed into a larger interest in geography, and in my free time I often create maps and collect vintage ones. My creations include expanded maps of the New York Subway and Europe broken down by HDI by region. I am a native English speaker and also speak fluent Spanish, as well as Danish and German at the B2 Upper Immediate Level under CEFR standards.
