COMPETENCIES : • Project Development and Management. Conceptualization, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development programs and projects; Also, I have meaningful involvement/ grassroots experience in Community Development work in implementing program/project cycle management along enterprise/livelihood development and disaster risk reduction with vulnerable sectors in various capacities as community organizer through integrated and right based approach to development under humanitarian and developmental context of intervention. • Community Organizing. I have facilitated core group formation for community organizing, federation building and capacity building for community based organizations as partners in project implementation and for countryside development; • Project Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of projects. Experienced in developing baseline and target values of outputs and outcomes/deliverables based on the project Logframe. Use of Results Based Monitoring approach for the projects and in using methods and instruments for collecting data. • Capacity Building for Organizational development. I have conducted various training needs assessment, for community based organizations for improved knowledge, skills and capacities for entrepreneurial/business development purposes. SKILLS • Facilitation. I have conducted facilitation on various types and levels of rural based organizations, facilitating capacity building & various forms of trainings with 15-30 participants across sectors (farmers, labor, youth, women, informal sector), facilitating farmers’ meeting, conducting participatory resource appraisal and other capability building activities/planning/workshops. • Networking. I have organized and convened consultation and meetings with farmer-leaders, NGOs involved with farming community on issues and concerns affecting the sector and initiated network building with Government agencies, CSOs and private sector groups for an issue based concerns/advocacy. • Team Work/Building Relationships. I have developed and comfortable with participatory process in meeting, planning, and decision making and in fact encourage team work, cooperation within and between teams and promote the value of diversity in teams such as different views and perspective, culture, ethnic group and gender. • Flexibility and Adaptability. I am open to whatever demand of the project regardless of time and distance. I can exercise tolerance and patience in difficult situations.
