About Bob Bertsch

I am seeking and sharing insights on how people can come together as equals to work toward positive social change. I'm currently working with the Military Families Learning Network's Network Literacy Team to explore how intentionally building social support networks can make people more resilient.After more than 20 years in communications, education and web technology, I have found a passion for building human networks, especially those focused on collective action. I'm looking for opportunities to help organizations and communities collaborate and co-innovate for positive social impact.Recently I've been involved in working out loud. I've facilitated several Working Out Loud circles. I'm currently exploring how Working Out Loud circles can be used to help people build networks for resilience and feel more control over their lives.I'm a web technology specialist with North Dakota State University Agriculture Communication and leader of the Military Families Learning Network's Network Literacy team.I use my broadcast background in producing the Practicing Connection in a Complex World podcast, an exploration of personal and collective practices that empower us to work together to help each other, our families, and our communities improve our resilience and readiness in a rapidly changing world.
