About Bob Brooks

In over thirty years of consulting, Bob has worked in manufacturing, supply chain, and service settings helping organizations improve their effectiveness and profitability. Over the past fifteen years, he has focused primarily on helping organizations implement process improvement programs to increase sales and reduce costs. He has helped them achieve exceptional results using lean, six sigma, TQM, and Kaizen techniques. Teams using Bob’s techniques achieve average savings of One team saved over $10 million. More important, they all improve organizatiions' performance and competitiveness. In addition to his work with process improvement, Bob has extensive experience in management development and organization change leadership. He has led efforts to reorganize, integrate and consolidate organizations and done team building, conflict resolution, and executive coaching. He is also a trained, certified and experienced instructional designer and trainer. He has designed and delivered training for managers and executives on the full range of both the “hard” and “soft” skills needed to be successful in those roles. Bob’s clients have included IBM, Kodak, Pitney Bowes, American Home Products, American Express, Textron, British Aerospace, Marsh and McClennan, Berlex Laboratories, GE, and Ford Motor Company, Pfizer, Wyeth, Teva, Cardinal Health, and Catalent labratories In addition to his consulting, Bob has been a professor of management at the graduate and undergraduate levels for several universities. He has chaired three academic departments, developed several programs, served as an editorial consultant for textbook publishers, and led a small business development center.
