With 15 years of experience as a Tier 1 Automotive Quality Assurance Manager, and over 30 years in the Quality field, I have a proven track record of delivering excellence and value to customers, suppliers, and staff in the automotive industry. I am currently leading the Quality department at Dana Incorporated, a global leader in drivetrain and e-propulsion systems, where I have played a key role in the division's growth and expansion. My core competencies include Quality Management, Auditing, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement. I hold certifications in CQE, CQT, and Six Sigma Green Belt, and I have experience in auditing to ISO9001:2015, IATF16949:2016, and ISO14001:2015 standards. I have successfully led the transitions of both Quality Management and Environmental Management systems to the updated international standards, achieving certifications in both. I excel at reducing customer complaints, scrap costs, quality costs, and incident rates by applying disciplined problem solving and cross functional teamwork. I am passionate about finding new and exciting ways to make things better, and I work closely with the people who are involved in the processes that need improvement. I foster a culture of internal growth and development by providing skills training and promotion opportunities to my team of 12 employees. I believe that good communication, listening, and humour are essential for promoting employee morale and engagement, which in turn leads to excellent results.
