After all these years in the Antenna industry I have decided to "SEMI-retire" from the field installation part of this industry. I will be working with Challenger Communication in Albion Mi doing Tech support and sales. I do hope you will look to all the good folks and myself at Challenger for any project needs you may have, give me a call Thanks to all that have allowed me the opportunity to be a part of their projects over the years, I have never worked a day in my life while building antennas. Career Highlights: 1. Completed over 75 installations for CycleSat with a list of equipment to include, 4.5 meter or 5 meter antenna, 1.2 meter antenna, installation of printers all interface required equipment including RCI controllers. 2.Ground support for SES during space craft launches as ground support. Was involved in the launch of AMC15/16 and 23. I provided the ground support monitoring site installations, Ka-band band monitor antennas and all related equipment including final test results for sites in Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Washington, and many more locations. I supported 23 by traveling to Hong Kong, installing the ground support equipment and turning up the TX in an over night handoff. Extreme environment installs in remote areas of Alaska for the FAA. Installations included 3.8 meter TX/RX antennas that are operational in winds as high as 125 miles per hour. 4.I have built ten 12 meter radio telescopes in different country's, three in Australia, one in New Zealand, One in Puerto Rico at the Arecibo observatory, the balance are in the US, that included a site for MIT at Goddard Space Flight Center, three at Harris in Melbourne Florida. I have experience with on location photogrammetry and related adjustments during the radio telescope installations. As on site manager I was responsible for work schedules, parts delivery and installation, hiring outside contractors, travel, housing and meals for my crew members.
