With over 30 years of consulting and industry experience in tailings, waste rock and water management at mine sites around the world, I am a proven geotechnical engineer with practical experience in dam engineering and mine waste management. I understand the mining industry. My international experience includes: Canada, USA, Mexico, Nicaragua, Chile, Peru, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Australia, Ireland, and Slovakia. At KCB I am Vice President of the Mining Environmental Group; we focus on mine waste management and environmental stewardship. I have the privilege of working with some of the top international tailings engineers and geoscientists on a daily basis. My experience spans from site assessment and conceptual studies through to closure of facilities. I enjoy developing business opportunities and long term relationships. I am known as an energetic, passionate and people focused leader, strategic thinker and team builder.
