About Bob Cooper

With 25 years’ experience as a teacher who contributes to engaging pedagogy inside and outside the classroom, I bring creative solutions to resolve complex challenges at an organizational level. My diverse background in education, the arts, and municipal departments has provided me with unique skills to identify flexible and individualized resources and supports. My passion is to work with organizations to advance initiatives that have an impact on society at large or make a significant difference for a specific targeted group. To help these organizations, I use my talents for problem solving, effective organization, project management, research, policy development, and creative thinking complemented by bringing people together to build something meaningful and make a difference. Here’s a short list of the additional supporting qualifications that I offer:~ Twelve years of successful leadership in Senior Administrative and community leadership roles ~ Experience as Supervisor/Principal in Independent and Supplementary School systems ~ Nineteen years’ developing numerous enrichment and extra-curricular programs in education ~ Served on the finance and audit committee for the Toronto Centre for the Arts ~ Chaired the Strategic Planning Initiative for the Toronto Centre for the Arts ~ Completed training in Interest-based Mediation and Dispute Resolution ~ Earned a Project Management Professional designation from PMI Under my stewardship, organizations have realized greater agility to achieve objectives and meet deliverables. I believe in and dedicate myself to ensure excellence in everything that I do by paying attention to details while maintaining a big picture perspective.
