Personally set up international sourcing in both Mexico and China, including identification, inspection, price and contract negotiations for components and branded product. Also upgraded design system to newest version of ProE/Windchill. • Took design engineering group from chronically late on deliverables to consistently meeting or beating deadlines. • Key team member or leader during several business restructures during recessions, business model change, or major profit improvement • Lead or actively participated in over nine (9) successful new product platforms – all reduced cost, improved customer satisfaction and increased share. • Developed Multiple Generation Product Plans, detailed product gap analysis with competitive review and assessment, Manufacturing Strategic Plans, and plant layouts. • Responsible for pricing, merchandising, and forecasting in product management roles.
