About Bob Evans

Bob is an experienced finance director with a passion for tackling transformational change in organisations. He has extensive experience of working with public and private sector bodies to develop effective corporate governance strategies and board structures and to restructure failing financial systems. His financial experience is supported by programme management and commercial skills derived from his work for IBM and on major Government IT programmes. Bob is currently a non-executive director for the Fire Service College, where he chairs their Audit Committee and also leads Gateway Reviews for local government. Bob has over 30 years experience in a broad range of policy and management roles in both public and private sectors. He is well versed in public sector reward, performance management and efficiency processes and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. Bob has well developed relationship management and interpersonal skills, having worked with senior politicians in both local and central government throughout his career, and is comfortable working the media.
