About Bob Evanski

An industry veteran with a vast knowledge of the automotive business, Bob brings over 30 years of progressive and entrepreneurial experience in sales and marketing and new business development. Specifically, twenty-two years as an independent sales representative followed by 15 years with Leggett & Platt Automotive in the USA and China business groups. In his current role at ZYNP, Bob is responsible for sales management of engine components for gasoline and diesel engines to OEM and Tier 1 customers in the automotive and medium/ heavy-duty truck markets. This product line includes engine cylinder liners, pistons, piston bearings, piston rings and special castings for EV powertrains. At Leggett & Platt, Bob was responsible for leading sales management to key OEM and Tier 1 customers for multiple products including power lumbar, DC motors, mechanical control cables and power actuators. Bob was also responsible and sales leader for Qi wireless charging transmitters to major OEM customers and earned several new business awards. Early in his career, Bob was a sales groundbreaker in automotive seating leather and helped pioneer sales of the electro-mechanical lumbar and heated seat components to the auto industry. Bob studied at Michigan State University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. He earned an MBA at Wayne State University.
