About Bob Farrell

Robert F. Farrell, CFP®, CPWA® Executive Vice President / Wealth Management As a Certified Financial Planner and Executive Vice President of Wealth Management, Bob specializes in comprehensive financial planning including investment, retirement, education, tax and estate planning. Bob entered the investment consulting business in 1993. After 16 successful years with Smith Barney, Bob joined Janney Montgomery Scott in January of 2009. In 1998, Bob earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) by completing the College of Financial Planning’s Professional Education Program and certification requirements. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Rutgers University. Bob completed the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) certification sponsored by the Investment Management Consultants Association through The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in October of 2015. Bob earned a Masters of Taxation from Villanova University in 2019. Bob is currently pursuing the Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®) designation through the American College of Financial Services with expected completion in 2021. With the ChSNC®, Bob plans to give his career a higher purpose and make a real difference in people’s lives. Bob is a member of the Catholic Philopatrian Literary Institute (Philo), the Investments & Wealth Institute, the Rutgers University School of Business Alumni Association and the Union League of Philadelphia.
