I have a wealth of experience in the pharmacy industry from both the clinical and business management sides of the business. I have spent time in each sector of the industry including hospital, long term care and retail practice segments. In addition I have signficicant group purchasing, pharmacy benefit management, and medication cost and reimbursement experience. I recently moved from managing drug costs in the long term care environment to managing reimbursement including prior authorizations and patient assistance programs for hospital patients that receive specialty pharmacy products in our infusion clinic. I am also an investor of Spaulding Clinical, a state of the art phase 1 clinical drug trial organization. I started the pharmacy portion of the business and still consult with current staff when new studies require my industry expertise.
