About Bob Levis

Bob Levis worked for Air Products for 32 years including 22 years overseas with assignments in Brazil (4 years), Japan (5 years), Taiwan (5 years) and Singapore (8 years). Following retirement from Air Products in 2008, he set up a consulting business, Asia & Brazil Connections, LLC to advise U.S. business enterprises on overseas market development. This work led to an opportunity to join ABEC, Inc. to expand their business into the Asia biopharmaceutical market. Following the ABEC assignment, Bob joined STEALTHbits Technologies to advance their unstructured data management solutions in Asia. While this partnership continues as a part-time point contact for business development in Asia, Bob has moved on to multiple patient advocacy initiatives, especially for blood cancer patients. Bob was diagnosed with leukemia (CLL) in 2002. Following various treatments over the years, he was terminal by 2012 and entered an experimental CAR T-cell therapy at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia in March 2013. The therapy worked and Bob has been cancer free since then. Google:"Bob Levis Leukemia." He now dedicates a majority of his time supporting Penn Medicine, the ACGT, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the biopharmaceutical industry and directly with blood cancer patients to advance the science for cures and to help patients find their way through the complex maze of healthcare options.
