Following a 29 year career with Multi-Amp (now Megger), a company which manufactures specialty electrical test equipment and measuring instruments used to ensure the reliable operation of electrical systems, in 1995 I founded and operated ElectricNet.com, an online buyers guide for products and services sold to the electrical power industry. This business was purchased by VerticalNet in and I continued as the Industry Manager overseeing the business they purchased. I retired in 2001 to play golf, but soon decided I needed something more to keep my mind active and re-entered the internet industry by selling domain registration and web hosting services.
