Like a lot of people I wasn’t sure what I wanted to be when I “grew up” but I knew that any kind of success wasn’t going to just be handed to me.My business card says Vice President but I’m much more than that. I started my career in sales and since then I’ve acquired other skills that have helped me build and lead teams, consult with partners to bring to life new products and even have a patent to my name. I’m a big believer in the thought that fun shouldn’t just be reserved for nights and weekends. Truly successful teams must also have fun in their work. Some of the most rewarding times I’ve had in my career have occurred at times when teams I’ve led have had so much fun in the work to achieve the objective that the “work” to get there wasn’t even a thought even though they were some of the most difficult and challenging tasks. I have an “eye” for organization and can easily spot issues that require resolution. I love technology and am considered the tech savvy person in my circle in which others hand me things and say…”here, you figure it out”.A strong work ethic is something I’ve been complimented on for as long as I can remember and have often found rewards in “out working” others. I have never thought that work ethic is something you are born with, it’s instead a conscious choice you make.
