About Bob Long

I'm passionate about helping people to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in their abilities - in following this it is great to see them achieve what they want in life. None of this has dimmed in the past twenty-six years in training, learning and development working with people at all levels on training interventions to improve business and personal effectiveness. In my spare time and more so in the last few years I have also sought to apply my learning and development experience to working with charitable organisations both in the UK and overseas, including working as a volunteer and as a trustee. In the past I have spent: • 26 years in training and development covering the full Training Cycle • Conducting Training Needs Analysis and Training Design leading to learning programmes covering- Interpersonal skills - Telephone Contact Centres (both on- and off-shore)- Administration Processing (including out-sourcing and transnational projects)- Training delivery for regulated and non-regulated Sales and Sales Management development (including T&C scheme development and accreditation)- Developing interventions for Customer Service and Complaint Handling • Coaching and developing employees, volunteers, management and trustees, trainers and developers • Managing training programmes and training projects from Induction to Business to Business Programmes
