Summary: I am an energetic and resourceful innovator with proven management and leadership skills, willing to roll up my sleeves and get the job done. HP provided me with an outstanding array of experiences in technology management over the entire 25+ year of HP’s InkJet technology’s life cycle. I have focused particular emphasis on 6-sigma quality management methods, and have frequently been asked to lead strategic business initiatives outside my normal job description. I am especially process oriented, with a passion for defining crisp, meaningful metrics that drive the business’ processes. I am frequently impatient with the status quo, striving for continuous improvement. I have consistently received exceptional scores in managing people, valuing the differences each individual brings to the team. My experience at Lumos was a great introduction into the Energy Efficiency markets, while building skills in every functional discipline, and balancing the priorities inherent in a lean start-up. Specialties: My strength is my versatility. I am excellent at solving complex, multidiscipline engineering problems, and utilizing 6-sigma black belt methods to improve processes. I have 20+ years of first and second level engineering management. My Masters thesis was in diversity and inclusion, valuing the strengths and diversity that each employee brings to the team. I have a very strong background in product safety for consumer electronics. I have been a strong advocate for product stewardship.
