About Bob Marchman

My experience ranges from general tech support, to full-time billable web development for clients. I have 10+ years developing web applications in LAMP environments. My current focus is the Drupal CMS framework and has been since Drupal release 4.7. I have long-term experience authoring custom modules, patching other custom modules, implementing custom themes - including the initial HTML/CSS from.psd conversion, content migration, and version control systems using CVS, SVN and Git, and contributing back to the Drupal community. I have experience using Trac, Assembla, Jira, and AtTask for issue tracking and project management. I attend as many Drupal-related conferences and camps as I can, and I have given multiple presentations about Drupal module development for Drupalcamp Nashville 2010-2011 as well as doing several book reviews for authors of Drupal 7-related books. Other areas of expertise include Wordpress templates, jQuery development, responsive and mobile sites, and various E-Commerce platforms (including Magento, Ubercart, Drupal Commerce, and WooCommerce). My hobbies, which occasionally extend themselves to my professional career, include typography and type design, classical music history, and physics.
